Holly Eden

Printed Textile Designer

Welcome to Holly Eden Printed Textiles

Holly is a printed textile designer with a passion for pattern and colour. She applies her hand drawn and painted patterns to beautiful silk and cotton fabrics by screen printing and batik. She dyes her fabrics in vibrant, as well as more subtle colour combinations and loves to see her designs come to life.

Holly is inspired by patterns from different eras, nature and geometric shapes. She was particularly inspired this year on a trip to Lisbon by the beautiful ceramic tiles covering the city’s buildings.

After creating her fabrics Holly transforms them into wearable items- scarves, headbands and bags, each one becoming a unique accessory. Holly strongly believes that clothes and accessories should be treasured for many years and wants to be part of reducing the ethical and environmental issues created by ‘fast fashion’.

Holly studied Textile Design at  De Montfort University in Leicester  and joined the Suffolk Craft Society after graduating and working as a freelance designer. Holly is now a secondary school design and technology teacher and uses her free time to continue to create her designs. She sells her accessories on Etsy and exhibits with the Suffolk Craft Society.
